I have used this product for years now. The first time I used it I was in a store and my ears were itching terribly.
I had another product that I used with me as well as Wally Ear Oil out in the car . The other product did nothing, made them itch worse , so I ran out to get the new oil by Wally. As soon as I put it in my ear, the itching stopped. I think I have yeast in my ears cause sometimes I itch like an old dog LOL .

I just put it in my cats ears tonight , but only in one ear, in the other I just cleaned it . The ear mites he has are terrible,
as soon as I clean it, the next night they are back . The cat was itching in the other ear but not in the ear that I put Wally ear oil in it . I call it Wally's , don't know which name is correct. I will put some in the other ear the next night,
I was a little hesitant because I've read that tea tree oil is very bad for cats . I washed the area around the ear and dried it with a paper towel , I hope he will be O.k. But I know it works for me and it's great stuff. Let's just hope it works
as good for kitty. I will post update.

UPDATE: 4/1/2011 My girls are 28 months old and I have been using this ear oil with them for over a year now so I thought I would give an update(my original review is below) I still LOVE this stuff!! My girls have not had a single ear infection since I've discovered this stuff. The bottles last a really long time too because I've used it a LOT. There have been several times I have gotten itchy ears(maybe from allergies or a cold) and this takes care of it fast, or I've gotten a popping sound in my ears occasionally(maybe trapped water) and again, this takes care of it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and recommend it to everyone!! You can't buy this in most stores(at least none where I live but if you need it asap you can probably find it at a natural food store, that is where I 1st got mine) it is normally cheaper here on Amazon so buy a bottle and have it for when you do need it. And if you're trying to decide which ear oil to buy, Wallys will CURE & SOOTHE but a lot of others only soothe.

My girls are currently 19 months old and I started using this when they were 15 months old. When my girls were about 9 months old they started getting ear infections, one right after the other, everytime they got any minor cold or runny nose they would end up with an ear infection. From 9 months to 15 months they both had at least 6 ear infections each and had to go to the Dr and get antibiotics every time. We were at the Dr so often that everybody knew us by name, it was like our home away from home. Our Dr sent us to an ENT who said if they got 1 more ear infection they would recommend getting tubes.

Although I know that ear tubes do help a lot of kids I was wanting to avoid having to do that if at all possible so I started looking up alternatives and learned about ear oils. There are many different kinds that you can buy but some of them only soothe while others have ingredients that can cure as well. At 15 months both of my girls got yet another cold with a runny nose and were pulling & poking their ears, being fussy and waking up a bunch at night. I've seen enough ear infections to know that they either already had another one or had irritated ears on the way to another ear infection. So I called a health food store down the road and asked the lady what she recommended for 15 month olds who kept getting ear infections and was getting another one or already had 1. She said she had Hylands Ear Drops that were actually for babies but that she recommended Wallys Ear Oil because she had been using it on her kids for years and that it really worked wonderfully. She said the Almond Oil is soothing & that the Garlic can kill the infection. So we picked it up the same day.

When I first tried to put this in my daughters ears, I had to hold both of them down because they always HATE getting anything put in their ears. However, later that night right before bed I got out the bottle of ear drops and both of my girls came over, sat right in front of me and tilted their heads!! So this must have made their ears feel better after just 1 dose, it soothed them. Plus they had been sticking their fingers in their ears constantly before I put any of this in their ears but once I put this in, they don't do it anywhere near as much. They also had been waking up several times during the night but the 1st night I used this they both slept all night long. I used this twice a day, everyday until a couple days AFTER their runny noses stopped. For the 1st time ever after my girls having a runny nose cold, we did not have to take them to the Dr to get antibiotics for an ear infection!!

About a month after that one of my daughters started sticking her fingers in her right ear and she had a Dr appt that same day so I didnt start any drops yet. Sure enough her right ear was irritated, getting an infection but I told him I had the drops that worked and he said that was great and to call him back if they weren't working. I started her on the drops and in a few days she was no longer poking at her ear.

Now they are 19 months and both got runny nosed colds several days ago. They both kept waking up and were poking their ears. I had accidently spilled the entire bottle of Wallys Ear Oil so I was out and the local store wasn't getting any in for 2 days so I had to wait. Fussy, lots of restless sleep & poking ears told me they were either getting another ear infection or already had one. Well I've used Wallys Ear Oil on them enough times that all I have to say is "do you want some ear drops" and they will come running, sit down & tilt their head. I've been using it twice a day since my husband picked it up and they've been less fussy and sleeping through the night again.

There is not cure. and it would help if you knew what kind of exzema you have. is it allergy or irritant type eczema? like contact dermatitis? or coin eczema? which looks like ring worm... or one of the other dozen or so forms. different types sometimes mean slightly different treatments. You can try corticosteroids (either in spray or lotion form, I was allergic to the base cream so they switched me over to a spray which was much easier to apply and didn't stay "wet" and greasy for hours). But these come with numerous side effects; such as (but not limited to): thinning skin, more hair growth, steroids can leach through skin and enter the blood stream (not good for your heart), can damage the liver as well. Yes all of that even if you are just using it topically. if after using a corticosteroid cream your skin burns like it is on fire and itches ten times worse or it puffs up and turns bright red it maybe that you are allergic to the base cream. eczema creams should never do this, ever. Switch creams or tell your derm. about the reaction and ask to try a spray instead. You can switch shampoos and soaps as well. Some commercial soaps with added moisturizers may help, though i found the most relief when i switched to an all natural homemade soap (the kind made from lye and lard). You can also soak the eczema in salt water, or since its on your arms it might be easier to soak a rag (one that is clean but has not been exposed to detergents and softeners) in in warm salt water and place on your arms. When the rag gets cold dunk it in the warm salt water and reapply. You probably wont have to do this every day, but once or twice a week seems effective. you can also alternate diluted baking soda water (suggested dosage: 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per cup of water) or diluted vinegar water (same dosage as baking soda). all three seem to help. If your skin begins to tingle or burn immediately rinse the area with water (is more common when you use diluted baking soda water). This does not mean the treatment is not working it just means you have a small open cut somewhere that it got into. Baking soda can be used to remove blood stains from clothes! so be a little careful when using it around scabbed over eczema. You can try to use nonprescription lotions but i find those to be a pain. they make your skin greasy and lint and dirt sticks to it and it feels slimy. if you do use a lotion make sure it has no essential oils, perfume, or fragrance in it as all of these tend to irritate eczema.

I have psoriasis and bought this book along with Pagano's other book Healing Psoriasis: The Natural Alternative and it makes total sense. I now understand how I got this disease and how to get rid of it. I have seen improvement after following the diet and regimen prescribed in the book. Its only been around 2 months that Ive followed the diet and only now im beginning to get results. Yes it requires patience and faith and sacrifice of foods that you love but its all worth it. I am by no means clear of this disease but i know that i am on the way to healing. Your skin does get worse before it gets better and ive experienced the "die off" period 2 times already so dont be discouraged, just cntinue the program. Seeing the photo results in the book provides me with hope that I too can be clear just like these people who faithfully followed the regimen.
Buy this book, it is a God send and you will never fear this disease again, but will have confidence in combating it!
You can be healed, this book has the answer so stop looking elsewhere. The longer you stay on the regimen and diet the longed you will stay "cured".

I suffer from gluten intolerance and have become very interested in body detoxing and colonics, as well as a career in homeopathics, so I've been doing a lot of reading on these subjects. While doing a subject search on my local library's online card catalog, this book popped up. I can tell you it has been an excellent read and it's been very hard to put this book down.

The fact that so many body ailments can be tied back to a Leaky Gut astounds me. I could see myself all throughout this book. When I was in high school, I started developing food and environmental intolerances. Chocolate and perfume/cologne were a couple of the first things that I remember reacting to. Oh, and eggs. A few years later, I suddenly could no longer have milk. Shellfish, peanuts, and wheat/gluten products came next. My back constantly aches, I struggle to lose weight (whereas I used to be rail-thin) no matter what I do, and I just generally suffer one ailment or another. I've recently started receiving colonics, which have helped, and am preparing to do my first 5-day liver detox. I also plan to do a gallbladder detox and kidney detoxes in the next 6-12 months. But after reading this book and one other, I am almost 100% certain I suffer from yeast overgrowth/candida albicans. As such, I plan on implementing the dietary changes outlined in this book, which are very similar to those outlined in the "Body Ecology Diet," which I've attempted to follow in the past. I'm more motivated now than ever before, though, and this book gave me a couple of tools to help stick to the diet.

If you are fortunate enough to find a Body Ecology practitioner in your area, or a homeopath trained in the use of a body analysis tool called the Avatar, invest your time with them. This will help you even more in your quest for total health.

There are many good books on natural healing, but there are only a few that will forever change the way we think about health and illness. One Cause, Many Ailments is such a book. The latest work to flow from the pen of chiropractic physician John Pagano, best-selling author of Healing Psoriasis: The Natural Alternative, it brilliantly illuminates our understanding of a condition that is just beginning to draw attention in mainstream medical circles: the Leaky Gut Syndrome (LGS).

Most of us have had experiences with leaky pipes, roofs, and faucets, but leaky gut--what on earth is that? No, leaky gut does not refer to diarrhea, although, to be sure, that may be one of its concurrent conditions. Rather, leaky gut refers to an abnormal permeability of the intestinal walls, affecting the ability of the gut to assimilate nutrients and prevent leakage and reabsorption of toxic substances into the bloodstream. This ultimately leads to a vicious circle in which the body is overwhelmed by poisons it cannot get rid of, while lacking the nutrients that are the basic building blocks required for cellular regeneration.

Before long, certain organ systems become affected and their function is impaired. Illness results, and we wonder where it came from. As this revolutionary book explains, numerous conditions may be attributable to LGS, including arthritis, abdominal pain and distension, chronic fatigue, migraine headaches, celiac disease, diabetes, lupus, poor exercise tolerance, psoriasis, eczema, and many others. But when we go to the doctor with our complaints, most of the time our symptoms get treated, while the underlying cause goes unrecognized.

Dr. Pagano appropriately looks upon LGS as an "elusive disease," because "you can't see it; it is hidden from view; pain may or may not be present, and unless special tests, such as gastroscope testing, or even biopsy of the gut wall, are medically performed, it may remain unrecognized and continue to evade the diagnostician." And while LGS is still not fully understood in the medical world, the Cayce readings, always ahead of their time, outlined the condition and its consequences, for instance in reading 3373-1, given for a woman suffering from psoriasis. This reading describes an abnormal thinning of the walls of the duodenum that caused toxins which should have been flushed out through the alimentary canal, to be eliminated through the perspiratory system and the skin instead.

For those who are not familiar with Dr. Pagano's work, he is the physician who, over an illustrious career spanning nearly half a century, has helped numerous individuals achieve near-miraculous recoveries from psoriasis, a condition that medicine considers to be incurable to this day. To obtain such amazing results, Pagano prescribed the Cayce diet first and foremost, but also applied adjunctive therapies such as castor oil packs, spinal adjustments, steam baths, and herbal teas.

How are these therapies effective in treating LGS, which can cause psoriasis and a host of other dreadful diseases? In One Cause, Many Ailments, the author explains his two-step approach: 1) stop the irritants that contribute to the thinning of the gut walls; and 2) provide remedies that soothe and heal them.

"It has been my experience that in many cases, it is what the patient stays away from that brings about the healing," states Pagano. He goes on to provide an in-depth explanation of how a build-up of yeast deep in the folds of the intestines results in an uncontrolled growth of mold and fungus that eventually penetrate the intestinal walls, thus forming the holes that cause the gut to become "leaky." To eradicate this yeast overgrowth and flush it out of the system, certain foods and substances that feed the yeast must be eliminated. Because yeast thrives on sugar, all sweets and refined starches, as well as alcohol and processed foods, must be strictly avoided. The book provides a detailed list of "Yes" and "No" foods, underlining the Cayce concept of the alkaline-forming diet. "The best results," writes Dr. Pagano, "were obtained with a change in diet, from highly acidic to highly alkaline, as recommended in the Cayce readings."

Alkalizing foods, along with certain food supplements, especially probiotics, which help to recolonize the "friendly" bacteria that are naturally present in the intestinal tract, are emphasized in the regimen, which also includes chiropractic or osteopathic adjustments. In this context, it is interesting to note, as mentioned in the book, that Edgar Cayce attributed the cause of one person's psoriasis to a single subluxation in the thoracic spine!

Have you checked with your doctor about it yet? You have to find a second opinion if you are not sure about it. Eczema is curable, but your baby's health may be further damaged if you give the wrong medication. u can go to the dr for a cortizone cream and to the pharmacry for an emollient cream from a dermatocosmetical firm;and find the allergen responsible, try to avoid it as much as possible; clean the room as often also
but don’t forget that natural medicine is the one that hasn’t been done studies for; not that it doesn’t have side effects

Numerous things you can use, ranging from straight up vaseline to Eucerin cream. I would stay away from emollients that contain lanolin, as it can be irritating.

Also, stay away from anything with fragrance, even those baby lotions that say they are for baby eczema, but are heavily fragranced. Fragrance of any kind is the last thing eczema needs!

Where does your baby have it? You need to be a detective to figure out the cause. When my son was 6 weeks old, he got eczema. It was on his hands and face, but no where else. I finally figured out that he was allergic to the soap I wash my clothes in. I started washing my blouses in Dreft and it helped a lot.

1) oatmeal bath
2) applying neem oil for moisturizing dry skin
3) use fragrance free detergent to wash baby clothes
4) organic bedsheets and clothes

Sea Salt added to the bathwater - don't let the baby swallow it though. Lavender essential oil in the bathwater. Oatmeal based eczema cream - if you're in the UK it's called Aveeno Cream Make up a mix with oatmeal and water. Make it into a paste and apply to the sore areas - wet a bandage with water and apply it to the sore area - do this before bed and remove in the morning. Oilatum added to the bathwater Hydrocortisone 1% ointment to the really bad areas. Contrary to what people think this doesn't cause any side effects or harm the skin! Wet Wrap technique - Google it - if things get really bad, sore and itchy. Most kids grow out of this. My eldest son had eczema when he was a baby, but he only has one small patch on his ankle now.

this product worked and worked great. i tried the steroid route only to make my eczema worse. this product over a few months has actually cleared up some big patches of eczema without the steroid side effects. i hope this company never runs out of business and the should advertise on tv. highly recommend you try this.

The Natural Alternative to Cortisone offering fast relief for itches and rashes from eczema and allergies, but the scent takes some getting used to!

Besides the strange odor of this topical cream it is not the usual texture or shade. Instead this is a yellowish color that has a smooth feel to it and once applied vanishes into your skin without a trace. There is no thick or dry feeling after this has been rubbed on my face, but the scent is not very pleasant, so use caution when in public.

At times when my face has been inflammed all creams will burn and then when you have rubbed it in you itch and start the whole process again. This has not happened once I have applied the B&T Florasone Maximum Strength Cardiospermum Cream.

Due to the expense of the B&T Florasone Maximum Strength Cardiospermum Cream I use it sparingly and would purchase again when my current tube runs out. I raved about this to the Pharmacist and said to tell other patients and customers about this alternative to the cortisone creams. Not only does this work for us eczema folks, it is also intended for rashes that are associated with detergents, cosmetics, jewelry and soaps.

At the first sign of itch, rash or inflammation a small dot rubbed onto the area will offer relief. This is not as soothing as the cortisone creams but over time this works better and more naturally. As mentioned earlier it absorbs quickly into the skin and I have worn it over makeup and under as well with no problems. There are no animal by-products to worry about plus they do not test on animals.
